Understanding and managing the various risks that come with multiple hazards is a challenge, demanding a thorough understanding that transcends mere theoretical frameworks.While recent theories have helped, there’s still a big missing piece: practical advice for people dealing with these risks directly. To achieve this, we developed an interview methodology with which we conducted in-depth semi-structured interviews in hazard-prone regions like the Canary Islands, Veneto, the Danube region, Scandinavia, and the North Sea. These interviews provide a rich tapestry of qualitative and quantitative data. Through these interviews, MYRIAD-EU gained valuable insights into the convergence of hazards, vulnerabilities, and the effectiveness of disaster risk reduction measures. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, MYRIAD-EU aims to equip stakeholders with the knowledge needed to enhance preparedness and response strategies. Additionally, these findings contribute to a better understanding of the evolving landscape of multi-hazard risks, aiding in the formulation of informed mitigation strategies for the future.<br />
